NLP would be a preferred choice when thinking about relationships, whether the relationship is about business or people in your personal life

Relationships

Our ability to communicate, connect, and get a long with other people are probably the most important skills we require so to get the most out of life.

Jaye (your coach) will firstly listen carefully to your situation and then ask some questions that will lead to discovering your strengths, strategies and desired outcome.
When you see Jaye, she will apply the techniques that are only available to NLP Master Practitioners and take you on a journey of building new skills so you take charge of the changes in your life.
Based on the work of Virginia Satir, Jaye will assist you to enhance communication and develop a new appreciation and respect for each other. You will develop a clear understanding of the strategies that are useful for you and these new skills and beliefs will stay with you and be easy to use any time in your future.
You will be able to take advantage of the Time Line Therapy® techniques to let go of anger, sadness, fear, hurt and guilt. What is important about this is (1) Old negative emotions will no longer impact upon your current relationship, and (2) this specialist technique is not available through generalist counselling, and so you know you that Jaye (Master Time Line Therapy® Practitioner)is someone who can really assist you in resolving issues quickly and effectively.
Together we will discover your individual beliefs and values, and then map the way to share them in a way that benefits the relationship where you can both be happy and achieve your greatest potential.
Three major contributing factors to consider…

Beliefs – what you believe makes a difference to how you live your life, relate to other people and what you achieve.
Do you and your partner have common beliefs?
Are your beliefs supporting you in where you want to be?

Values – do you fully realise what is most important to you? And what is important to your partner?
When you and your partner are clear about what is important about your relationship and your life together, you can easily resolve disputes and conflicts as well as demonstrate understanding and respect for each other.
Conflicts in relationships are often a result of a clash of values. It is important to explore Beliefs and Values because they are usually unconscious. They are what you move towards or avoid in regards to certain tasks or opportunities. Beliefs and Values provide the drive for your actions and serve as evaluating what is good/bad, right or wrong; therefore working with beliefs and values is an excellent way to create sustainable motivation.

Emotions – when emotions are stored in the body they can cause a lack of energy and illness. Why not try the technique that allows you to watch these emotions disappear?
Stop the past affecting you today!
When looking through the lens of the model of Neuro Linguistic Programming we can easily see that negative anchors are one of the contributing factors when relationships go wrong. Some people get used to things going wrong and then accept misery and unfulfilled dreams as a way of life. Good news! With (your coach) Jaye’s  assistance you can delete negative anchors and create new positive anchors and start expecting the best.

A brief history of Neuro Linguistic Programming:

NLP has weathered the test of time as it can be traced back to Korzybski (1930) who discussed semantics and then Watzlawick (1950) introduced linguistics.

Pavlov is considered a leader in the field where he provided evidence for cognitive learning. Key themes arose out of his research which continue to be applied today, some of these include: classical conditioning, operant conditioning, and reinforcement. An example of positive reinforcement is when an encouraging statement is spoken when a task or behaviour is successfully achieved. This kind of statement can be heard on a sports field, in the classroom and in the workplace. Statements such as: Good on you! Well done! Great job!

Bandler and Grinder are considered to be the founders of the NLP model of communication that has highlighted the importance of linguistics and how information is interpreted. Key themes can be found in their work, and some of theses include: the Meta model, sensory perception and elicitation of the primary representational system.

Virginia Satir, Bandler and Grinder, and Tad James have significantly contributed to NLP in a way that takes a complex theory and turns it into a process that anyone can learn. NLP offers a clear method of creating change through communication, as well as numerous strategies such as: building rapport, choosing the most effective communication channel, accessing positive states, negotiating, and achieving the results you want.
